Re: NELLIS AFB (LSV/KLSV) - 2024

On 19 March I noted an Arizona NG F-16 (code looks like AT) near the local OT F-16s.
Possibly a transfer to 422TES or 64AGRS?
Anyone for an ID?

The NAWDC F-16 had a mishap at Lemoore earlier this year.

Re: R-2508 Sidewinder 2024 MIL

Mike, not sure what you mean by '166976 was lost in Oct18'?
166976 had a mishap 05AUG17 and has been stored at FRCSW since.

NE112 = 166796. I'm guessing Adrian made a typo.

166975 = NA101

Did anyone manage to identify WS-08? I couldn't see any serial on it when it landed.

Re: NAS North Island KNZY 2024

Binocular report. Yesterday a squadron of 6xEA-18G came in. The time between the first bird and the last was too short to get out to the beach. Too back-lit to get anything off the tails. Interestingly, they used the callsign FLASHBACK, which I've never heard before. That was the callsign of VAQ-34...

Re: NAS North Island (KNZY) 2023

It could be a nice day at the beach if they use the right runway. Ha ha, it was a good day to work on your tan, and play with dogs. The last 2 days have seen a grand total of 2 F-18s landing during daylight hours, one F-18E Monday and one Growler yesterday. No other fast movers landing in the day. ...
