Hi,
Saturday 28 June 2008, between 10.00 and 17.00 lt
Photocall to picture the F-104s at Niederrhein; KG+101 and FX52. Positioning the third (Belgian) F-104 in front of its shelter is still under consideration.
In front of their shelter, no barriers, etc. Ideally positioned for photography!
Bring your own drinks and food!
To visit; follow the "Alte Zollstrasse". This road passes through a small urban area and ends at a crash gate. This gate will be open to gain access to the base.
Greetings,
Stefan

I am only the messenger here, but I guess that it is up to the crowd attending to show their ability to cooperate and their respect for others...andel wrote:I hope no barriers means also no people in ,up ,under infront at the back enz enz .Stefan wrote:Hi,

Almost correct: apart from F-104G's KG+101 and FX-52 (tiger c/s) that were on display during the airport days and that will be on the photocall, four more ex-military aircraft are stored at NRN since April. These are Belgian Starfighters FX-69 and FX-70 and Belgian CM170 MT-9 and French CM170 427/(4-WA). However, these are all stored inside the shelters and are probably not to be shown outside untill they have had various (serious) amounts of restoration work done.andel wrote:I thought it where two CM-170,s ex Belgium AF.Koen L wrote:Shouldn't there be 2 extra Belgian 104's there now instead of just one?
All in all, it's starting to become an interesting Belgian AF preservation site... anyone care to base a few BAF Mirages as well ?
