NAWCWD China Lake - Visit (UPDATE)
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Goivanni,
Nice pics mate! Did you visit the two compounds on the way to the flightline that contain the WFU aircraft? If so, can you publish any pictures please or aircraft types/serial numbers?
Regards and thanks
Mark

Like discussed in a similar topic very recently, there's nothing wrong with positive critisism. Just saying "beautiful pictures" is not going to help someone develop his (or her) skills! In this case it's clear that the person giving the comment is just trying to help by giving his personal opinion, and he does it in a polite way. No problem with that I would say? Of course taste is very personal, but it can be useful to hear what others think.Always the complaining about ´oversharpening´, not ´level´, not ´fullframe´...
OK, off my soap box
(And yes, I like the pictures too, but I happen to agree with the comments on the oversharpening and cutting. My first thought was exactly the same: fake! So if more people think this there might be something "wrong" with the picture.)
Cheers,
Patrick Dirksen
