One commenter on the article at http://www.omroepflevoland.nl/Nieuws/93 ... weg-1-dode suggests it might have been PH-MRB based on a photo of the tail.
Not confirmed, but c/s does seem to match this General Avia F-22B plane.

When I saw the pics, the G-AJHS (Tiger Moth) popped up in my mind. Same kind of stripes on the tail. But it could be the PH-MRB as well.
Anyway, it's sad to hear the pilot lost his life in this crash.![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

G-AJHS as rounded horizontal stabilizer wing tips.

Re: Crash near Biddinghuizen 16-08
That's correct. It was just the first idea that popped up. PH-MRB is more plausible. Here you can find a clear picture: http://www.ad.nl/ad/nl/1012/Nederland/a ... izen.dhtml
Airframe has a darker shade of blue (compared with the Tiger Moth) and a part of the registration is visible. It looks like the last letter is a "B"...so that makes the PH-MRB even more plausible.
Again, very sad news.

Horrible news. I feel sorry for the familily and friends of the pilot.
And also a shame about PH-MRB, was such a lovely aicraft to do aerobatics in.

Indeed such a shame for both pilot and aircraft, I rent and flew the MRB last year for some aerobatics. It was a great one.

I flew in the PH-MRB for the first time about three weeks ago. Great aerobatic aircraft!
This morning at about 09:30LT I saw the PH-MRB taking off and climbing out. About 45 minutes later I heard about the crash.
Very sad news indeed.
