A formation of THREE F-86 Sabres?

I love the F-5, and also the F-15 is just astonishing-looking!! Great to see one of the F-4's losing much of its glossy finish, making the colors look a lot more realistic!!
And the flight of F-86's takes you way back to the Korean War, great sight!!
(I think you doubleposted your last picture)

Agree, the Holloman F4E still has that gloss sheen, but the tyndall jet is quite weathered as you can tell....

F-4E from Holloman and Tyndall
Just a minor correction, *both* QF-4Es are from Detachment 1 at Holloman AFB - despite the TD tail.
The 82nd ATRS has been shifting Phantoms from Tyndall ("TD") to Det 1. at Holloman ("HD") to balance the fleet across both bases, but those aircraft retain their "TD" codes.
So far, Det 1. is only operating QF-4Es, it has no QRF-4Cs yet.
Det 1 has four Heritage birds (all SEA), two of which have HD codes and two of which are ex Tyndall Phantoms and have TD codes.
And additionally, there is one TD coded QF-4E in Egypt One colours, with a bright red tail and "Team Target" markings, that also belongs to Det 1.
(Not a Heritage jet).
