A very nice Flypast, which had initially looked, to be threatened by very low cloud. Which luckily improved.

Just realised the missing IAR-99s were in Renes post. Doh!
Namely 708 and 711.

5913 was converted to LanceR C to replace the MiG-21 that crashed last year. It belongs to Esc. 861 and was noted by me at Constanta on November 5th.Blackbird 1313 wrote: Wave 15.

Small correction on the IAR-99s.
IAR-99C are called Soim
IAR-99 are not Soim, but called Standard.
Soim is the advanced version of the standard with glass cockpit and advanced avionics.

I had always thought, that the IAR-99 was called Soim. Thanks for the clarification.
