Aviano (LIPA) - 2010 MIL
Fuel stopping at Aviano were three SP on their way to ETAD: 358 and 361 "Blade 01" and 366 "Mazda 01". Isn't strange the Mazda c/s or were their stragglers from bigger flights?
Re: ETAD 07-01-2010
Hi Maurizio,
They indeed were part of bigger flights comming back home from "downrange" after AEF duties.
Cheers,
Oscar

Re: ETAD 07-01-2010
Hello Maurizio and Oscar !
Mosel 01 and Blade 01/02 were not returning from AEF duties!
They were in fact returning from re-work at HAI.
SP91-0358 had transited through LIPA on 24.08.09
SP91-0361 had transited through LIPA on 08.09.09
SP91-0366 had tarnsited through LIPA on 23.09.09
It is believed these three a/c are the last "SP" F-16s to go through a re-work at HAI.
All three landed at ETAD between 17.02-17.04 lcl on 07.01.10.

Re: ETAD 07-01-2010
Dear Maurizio !
Call-sign "Mosel 01" confirmed, heard live and recorded on tape. Is a normal SP call-sign.
And for Oscar :
The deployed AEF F-16s never swopped way back in 2009, only the crews were.
The 22nd crews returned on 28.09.09 and were replaced by 23rd crews shortly before.
If they stay another four months then they will not be back at SP before late Jan 2010 at the earliest.
There were no F16s coming back last week.
Cheers WM59

Hi,
Then I got wrong info....
Shaw is deploying F-16s for AEF duties in the next two weeks. Perhaps these will release the SP boys then?

Re: ETAD 07-01-2010
Probabily this is uncorrect. Two F-16's arrived yesterday at Aviano and departed this morning to Tanagra. It is believed these three a/c are the last "SP" F-16s to go through a re-work at HAI.
All three landed at ETAD between 17.02-17.04 lcl on 07.01.10.
One was 90-0829 "22 FS" and anybody knows the other?

Sorry, my mistake. The A-10s should be staying at Nellis AFB for two more weeks, taking part in Green Flag West.Theo03 wrote:They will not arrive at Lajes
TABOR11 Flight 6x F16´s going KSSC-LIPA
TABOR21 Flight 5x F16´s going KSSC-LIPA
The final 31FW F-16s should be departing from Shaw AFB to Aviano tonight.
