Additional Singapore Strike Eagles to Australia

On 30 October 2020, an additional four Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG Strike Eagles departed from Paya Lebar Air Base (Singapore) bound for RAAF Base Darwin (Australia).

Originally it was reported that only eight Strike Eagles would go Down Under, it now seems that the decision was made to increase the number to twelve.

So Phase III saw the arrival of more RSAF aircraft on their 2020 deployment to Darwin. Again the deployment saw a mix of 149 Squadron Shikra and 142 Squadron Gryphon tails and included the golden lion F-15SG serial 8327.

The Strike Eagles were refueled by 112 Squadron's A330MRTT serial 762. As additional transport, the RSAF send 122 Squadron C-130H Hercules serial 730. Gufstream G550 Nachshon Aitam, serial 016, from 111 Squadron joined the deployment.
