The unique AVRO Anson Mk.I MH120, now registered as OO-ANS, has made its first flight after assembly by FASTAero, today, 1 June 2025. Taking off from Brasschaat aerodrome on 12.41 hrs., the crew made a succesful 19 minutes local flight.

As Scramble reported on 29 April 2025 the plane, the world's only airworthy Anson Mk.I arrived at FASTAero in April. It originated from New Zealand where the Anson had been restored in the years 2003 to 2012 and had been regularly flying as ZK-RRA since then.

The New Zealand owners, RR Aviation Ltd. of Springlands, Blenheim, decided to sell it in 2024. It was bought by the R.A.F. Station Czechoslovakia flying museum.

Only one day after the succesful acceptance flight in Belgium, MH120 made her way to Podhorany aerodrome in the Czech Republic. After flying 3 hours and 27 minutes, the Anson piloted by Richard Santus landed there at 10:40 local time.

The public premiere of the Anson Mk.I on the Northern Hemisphere will take place at the Aviaticka Pout Airshow in Pardubice during the weekend of 7 & 8 June. According to the website of the R.A.F. Station Czechoslovakia organization, OO-ANS will possibly be displayed at the airshows of Battle of Britain Airshow Duxford Airfield (6 & 7 September), the Jersey International Air Display on 11 and the Sanicole Airshow in Belgium on 14 September. However these displays are still to be confirmed.
