Crash Tunisian Air Force helicopter

On 5 October 2021, an Al Quwwat al-Jawwiya At'Tunisia (Tunisian Air Force) helicopter crashed in the El Hamma region, in the Gabes governorate. Unfortunately, all three crew members died in the incident.

The helicopter type has not been confirmed yet, but is believed to be an AgustaBell AB205 or Bell UH-1H. According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) the incident happened during a military exercise at night. The cause of the unfortunate mishap is under investigation.
