Afghanistan AAF A 29B Moshi AnahoryDelivery Afghan Air Force Super Tucanos

On 11 March 2021, two Afghan Air Force (AAF) A-29B Super Tucanos were noted test flying at Rota (Spain). The aircraft, serials 17-2029 (construction number 31400242) and 17-2032 (c/n 31400245) are expected to have arrived by vessel in March.

UPDATE: in total six A-29Bs have arrived by vessel. The other four aircraft are: 13-2001, 13-2002, 17-2030 and 17-2031. On 18 March 2021, the six aircraft departed Rota on delivery to Afghanistan. First stop is at Palma de Mallorca (Spain).

Some previous Super Tucano deliveries have also followed the same route via Rota. After test flying, the aircraft will be flown to Afghanistan.

Just a few days back, on 6 March 2021, an Afghan Air Force PC-12, call sign DAGGR88, arrived at Bucharest/Henri Coanda (Romania). The aircraft was reported to continue its way to Prague/Václav Havel Airport (Czechia) and Prestwick (UK), but as far as we know the aircraft stayed at Bucharest. However, taking note of the used call sign, the aircraft may be on a flight to the USA.

No further details on the PC-12 at Bucharest at this moment.
