First “pax” A330 for COTAM spotted

In Scramble issue 497, we reported that the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace (French Air Force and Space Force) ordered three additional A330MRTTs, which were also destined to replace the ageing A310s. We also wrote that we didn't knew what was going to happen to the A340-200-duo in service with Escadre de Transport 3/60 (ET03.060).

However, we can now make an educated guess that these ageing aircraft will be replaced by at least one second-hand A330, as this former AVIANCA Brasil A330-200 (construction number 1608) was spotted at Tarbes-Lourdes on 2 October 2020 in Armée de l'Air (AdlA) livery. The Airbus A330, manufactured in 2015, ceased flying in April 2019.
