Greek F-16 crashed

On 18 November, an EPA (Elliniki Polemiki Aeroporia - Hellenic Air Force, HAF) F-16C Block 52 crashed near Andravída air base, during the landing procedure.

The F-16C from 343 Mira was flying a mission for the Weapons and Tactics School (SOT) and suffered an engine fire just before touch down, forcing the pilot to bail out.

The pilot did not suffer injuries during the procedure. At this stage, no more details around the identity of the crashed Fighting Falcon are known. If you have any updates, please come forward and mail us at:  social at scramble.nl
