"Just a nice Picture...!"
The F-4E Phantom IIs from the Hiko Kaihatsu Jikken Dan (Koku Kaihatsu Jikken Shudan/Air Development and Test Wing - ADTW) are the very last operational Phantoms in service with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF).
These Phantoms operate from Gifu air base and according to our information the unit has still seven active F-4Es in its inventory. The most outstanding Phantom, serial 17-8301, is already active with the unit since April 1973!
