On 5 December 2025, Air Education and Training Command's 99th Flying Training Squadron Red Tails, part of the 12th Flying Training Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, received the first Boeing T-7A Red Hawk to be used for Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT).

Adorned with a red tail, but lacking the RA code, T-7A "7005" arrived at Randolph. At is expected that the 12th Flying Training Wing will host an arrival ceremony at JBSA-Randolph at a later date.
