Su-57 Felon export version expected at Army-2020

The Russian Sukhoi Su-57 Felon export version is expected to be shown for the first time during the Army-2020 international military and technical forum at Kubinka air base (Russia). The exhibition's organisers say the Su-57E will also take part in the flight demonstration programme.

At Army-2020 the Su-57E will be officially offered for sale on the international market for the first time. However, only a few foreign countries have revealed true interest so far. It is assessed that Turkey (sounds opportunistic, but also realistic), China (only to copy/paste it into another J-fighter type?) and Egypt are possible candidates. Also, MENA reports an unconfirmed possible sale of fourteen Su-57Es to Algeria. India was once a participant in the Su-57 programme, but it decided to leave the programme.

Army-2020 (23-29 August 2020) will also show the MiG-35, Mi-28N (Berkuts (Golden Eagles) aerobatic team), Ka-52 and Ka-27M, as well as many other types of the Russian air force, navy and army.

As with previous editions, Army-2020 can be visited at three locations: at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center, at the Alabino training grounds and at Kubinka airfield.
