Test flight Meta Aerospace KC-135R

Hans Jacobs photographed this former Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) KC-135R Stratotanker during a test flight at Singapore/Changi on 11 January 2022.

The tanker, registered N569MA (ex 750, c/n 18626/T0665) with Meta titles and in a strikingly attractive camouflage scheme, is expected to be delivered soon. On Friday 14 January, the tanker made another test flight.

The RSAF retired their four Stratotankers in 2019. All tankers were sold to Meta Aerospace in September 2020, and two of these have since been seen flying from March ARB (CA). The other two tankers, N569MA and N572MA (ex 752, c/n 17942/T0357) are still in Singapore for various upgrades before being flown to the USA.
