US 60th AMW KC 46A delivery number 100 credit USAF 640USAF receives 100th Pegasus

On 2 December 2025, USAF's Air Mobility Command welcomed the 99th and 100th Boeing KC-46A Pegasus tanker/transport aircraft during an arrival ceremony at Travis AFB (CA).

Being troubled with multiple technical issues for some time now, the delivery of the 99th and 100th KC-46As has been an important milestone for Boeing and the USAF marking years of hard work, determination and big progresses. Devoid of any serial numbers on the tail and fuselage, KC-46As 22-46105 (as "WYVERN-99") and 22-46106 (as "GOLDEN-100") were delivered straight from Boeing's Everett-Paine to the 60th Air Mobility Wing at Travis.

The KC-46A Pegasus is an aerial refueling aircraft capable of performing single and multi-point simultaneous aerial refueling. Designed for versatility and survivability, the aircraft can also support passenger and cargo movement, aeromedical evacuation, and features defensive, self-protection, and communication systems suited for contested environments.

For now, the USAF operates the KC-46A from Altus AFB (OK), McConnell AFB (KS), Pease Air National Guard Base (NH), Seymour Johnson AFB (NC), Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (NJ), and Travis AFB (CA) with future announced basing at March Air Reserve Base (CA), MacDill AFB (FL) and the latest announcement being McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base (TN).
