The upgrade of the Kazakh Su-27 Fleet was conducted by LSARP Lviv where the single seaters were upgraded to Su-27P standard and the dual seaters were upgraded to Su-27UB-M2. These are currently based at Aktau.

The Kazakhstan Air Force has already received twelve Mi-35M1s. These are based at Aktau, Pervomaisky and Shymkent.

Part of the An-26 fleet has been upgraded by Antonov at Kiev Zhulyany. Only a handful remain in service, like this 04 red.

Civil registered aircraft, like this TL-2000, are used by the Aviation Training Center at Zholaman.

In 2017, two Zlin 242L were added to the training fleet and the last Yak-18T was put up for sale.
