Many Mi-24 and Mi-35 gunships are believed to have been delivered. Not all are still serviceable.

At El Fasher, fighters, transports and helicopters are seen frequently. We have listed them as detachments of their parent units, but they could easily be separate squadrons.

Geneina has a new airport with a prominent helicopter ramp. The white helicopters may be a detachment but could also belong to an other operator, e.g. the police.

Chinese built hardware is also abundant in Sudan. K-8, PT-6 and these A-5 aircraft are operated in numbers.

Attack and assault types possibly divided between two separate squadrons.
These are army barracks rather than an airfield. They seem to have a permanent presence of helicopters. Maybe this is a separate squadron instead of detachment. It may also be a police unit.

At Kenana, there are two sites. The most prominent is under reconstruction and seems to have a permanent presence of helicopters. Maybe this is a separate squadron instead of detachment.

Frequent sightings of transport aircraft and helicopters, has led us to believe that those units keep a permanent detachment here. Maybe these are separate squadrons.
