Air India Express unveils new corporate identity

During a special event on 18 October 2023, Air India Express unveiled its new corporate identity. The livery was showcased by the carrier's first Boeing B737-8 VT-BXA (61639), which was delivered on 28 September 2023. Back then, it was still carrying the basic livery of Shanghai Airlines for which this airframe was first destined to go.

The new livery of Air India Express is clearly linked to the new livery of Air India. It also marks the beginning of a new era for the airline as its in the process of integrating AirAsia India after the acquisition of Air India by Tata Group.

Air India Express now consists of one Airbus A320neo, two B737-8s, and 26 B737-800s. In the coming months more A320s will follow from AirAsia India, as well as new B737-8s.
