AirAsia converts Airbus-order

AirAsia has announced it has reached an agreement with Airbus in which both companies agree that the airline will convert its last remaining thirteen A320neos on order into the larger A321neo. With this conversion, the airline has now ordered a total of 362 A321neos.

Of this, AirAsia has taken delivery of four A321neos. The rest of the airplanes will be delivered until 2035. At the moment, the airline group also operates 189 A320s and 44 A320neos.
