Avelo Airlines to expand fleet

Avelo Airlines has announced it has raised additional capital which it will use to expand its operations. Next to opening new routes, the airline plans to add nine additional B737s to its current fleet of three B737-700s and three B737-800s.

The airline launched officially in April 2021 and is the new name for Xtra Airways. It currently operates out of two bases at Burbank (CA) and New Haven (CT), from where it flies to destinations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
