British Airways starts retirement B747 fleet

Yesterday, 18 August 2020, British Airways officially started the retirement of its 31-strong B747-400 fleet. The first aircraft to leave the fleet was G-CIVD, a 1994-vintage aircraft wearing the oneworld Alliance livery.

It was flown from Heathrow Airport to Castellon in Spain where it will be dismantled.
