Emtrasur to receive former Mahan Air Jumbo
A nice surprise is coming out of Iran, where photo's were taken of the first aircraft for new cargo carrier Emtrasur from Venezuela. The aircraft involved is a genuine classic Boeing B747-300M and is registered as YV3531 (23413). The Jumbo was previously part of the Mahan Air-fleet as EP-MND and has been stored for several years at Tehran-Mehrabad International.
Emtrasur's official name is Aerocargo del Sur and was established last year by the government of Venezuela with the aim to fly cargo between Venezuela, Iran and China. It has its base at El Libertador Air Base at Maracay.
