EVA Air reveals new Dreamliner-order

In a filing to the Taipei Stock Exchange, EVA Air reveiled it has ordered additional Dreamliners at Boeing. In total the airline has decided to add four more B787-10s to its fleet. No delivery timeline has been communicated.

Last year, in March 2023, EVA Air also ordered five more B787-9s, which were scheduled to start to arrive from 2025 onwards. With this latest order for the -10s, the airline now has open orders at Boeing for nine B787-9s and six B787-10s.

Today, EVA Air is operating a fleet of four B787-9s and eleven B787-10s. Next to these, the fleet is further made-up of seventeen Airbus A321s, two A330-200s, nine A330-300s, 34 B777-300ERs, and nine B777Fs.

The airline also has open orders with Airbus for fifteen A321neos, as well as eighteen A350-1000s.
