Icelandair announced it has reached a settlement with The Boeing Company regarding the impact of the grounding of the B737MAX-fleet

Part of the deal is the cancellation of four MAXs on order. Six aircraft will remain on order, which are now scheduled for delivery in 2021 and 2022. Originally Icelandair ordered sixteen B737MAXs. Five B737-8s and one B737-9s have so far been delivered to the airline.
