Oman Air welcomes 1st freighter

On 15 November 2023, Oman Air announced it has taken delivery of its first dedicated freighter. The aircraft involved is Boeing B737-800BCF A4O-BU (35108), which has been under conversion at Jinan since July 2023. Originally, this aircraft was delivered to the airline as a passenger-aircraft in March 2008.

Its unknown yet on which routes Oman Air will deploy the aircraft. It will be based at the airline's base at Muscat.

Oman Air's fleet further has four Airbus A330-200s, six A330-300s, seven B737-800s, five B737-900ERs, thirteen B737-8s, two B787-8s, and seven B787-9s.
