Start-up airHaifa takes delivery of 1st aircraft

On 26 July 2024, ATR announced it has delivered the first of two new ATR72-600s to Israeli start-up airHaifa. The aircraft is registered 4X-IHA (1701) and will be ferried to its new home soon.

airHaifa was founded in 2023 and is based at Haifa airport. The airline is planning to launch commercial flights in September and will first serve Eilat. Later, it plans to also fly to destinations in Cyprus, Greece, and Turkey.
