Start-up BermudAir receives AOC

On 26 July 2023, Bermuda start-up BermudAir received its Air Operator's Certificate, clearing the way for the airline to launch flights soon. The new company is set to connect Bermuda with destinations on the East coast of the US.

BermudAir will launch flights using two Embraer ERJ175s. Both are leased from Azorra and will be outfitted with an all-business class configuration. The Embraers involved are VQ-BLW (17000351), currently parked at Muskoka, and VQ-BLU (17000344), currently parked at Reykjavik. Both are former flybe-aircraft.
