This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
Hmm, I don´t think I want to know what that feels likelievers-online wrote:to fist the RIAT
These pic's are made from the Park and View area at the West End I suppose... 20 euro's on the dayThijs wrote:no offence but to make these kind of shots you need to be at the grandstand. Which is only possible if you have a mach3 card for about 120 pound or so. To me very expensive pictures. But if money is no deal, it is the best place to shoot the riat participants.
wich is quite possible with 700MM on a EOS 1DMK3 (wich is Fullframe i believe? Sorry im not a Cannon user )Kleintje Pils wrote:These pic's are made from the Park and View area at the West End I suppose... 20 euro's on the day
East end is for shot's on the runway and Taxi shot's only...nilsko wrote:Wasn't the east-end Park and View not opened? For here you can make excellent takeoff shots.
So that makes it 10 euro each... ? Best way to "fist"? the RIAT must be in the field opposite the grandstand during Thursday and Friday (but only without clear blue skies or late afternoon for taxi-shots). 90% of the arrivals and 80% of the airshow can be seen there. But nevertheless two great pictures.Kleintje Pils wrote:These pic's are made from the Park and View area at the West End I suppose... 20 euro's on the day
Indeed, less action.Of course true I had to mention start of take-off roll instead of the actual take-off
Less milimeters needed here but also less action.
