ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Dijon small movie

Post by E. Schoonderwoerd »

Allthough this is an Aviation Photo Forum I thought it might be nice to post a link to a small movie. My excuse...it was taken with the 7D, so for a part it is taken with a photocamera, making it a part of the aviation photo forum. I think

Anyway just a very short (because of upload limit) movie taken with the 7D. (Note; I was not in the position to use a tripod/monopod, the wind was blowing pretty hard, so there is some camerashake.) My first real experience with the movie-function of this camera

For those who are interested, the full HD (especially seen on an normal TV/LCD and not converted for upload) quality of the 7D is very good, and it is nice to use your own quality glass. The vimeo movie though, is best to see at the 'small size' when it opens the site. Looking at full screen will degradade the quality.
For me video will not replace taking pictures, but it adds something nice to the couple of hundred photoshots taking at Dijon :D

Anyway enjoy

PS: I won't bother you with pictures taking at Dijon. A lot of them allready has been posted.

Great movie! Love both the Mirages and Eagles. How late does the main movie show starts? I'll get a coke and popcorn! Let it run!

Nice movie, but aren't the ex- Soesterberg eagels?
Compromise is failure.
