![]() | This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
Yes. We even prefer that, and it has been the standard here all along. A forum is for sharing.Martijn. wrote:If you open a topic about a specific day and location I asume other photographers which were there at the same day are allowed to post their pictures in that topic as well?
With the above in mind, we certainly do not encourage multiple topics on single occasions, aimed at getting more views by relying on one's own reputation. If the author's name is needed to differentiate from an existing topic, why not just post there? The topics I was reacting to did not even have 'competition'. As said, this is a request, not a rule.Macc wrote:No trying to hinder your point but does it really matter that much, if you have a number different posts from say Volkel on a single day then it's a good way to differentiate the title. The only case when it'll make an impact is if someone has a reputation for good photos, surely there is nothing bad about trying to get more viewers..
