four hours at Düsseldorf/EDDL 01-10-2011

Post by Polecat »

Spent an early afternoon at Düsseldorf, not a lot of specials, but nice weather, good company and many new airframes to me.

1.Iberia frequently uses the ultra-long CRJ-1000 on the Dusseldorf route...
Image

2. First time I saw the Pllice depart this wayu, usually the come in for landing this way, always the same pics with the helo coming in from the right. This makes a nice change...
Image

3. Rumour has it that the LH 330's will be replaced -again- by A-340's in the near future...
Image

4. Nice Brazilian bizjet, left again after an good hour...
Image

5.Very well known airframe, but I never get bored by this ''biggy''..
Image

6. Not the first type that jumps to mind when thinking about "evergreen", but still a nice visitor I think.
Image

7. I think the Be-200 may have had something to do with this one? Former Evergreen aircraft, transferred to bering Air, and now heading for.....?? (Anyone with the story?)
Image

8. New MadDog for me, love those a lot, especially the noise..
Image

9. XL-airways now flies with "15 years" stickers.
Image

10.we than went to the main terminal-terrace to make a few take-off shots, including this FlyBe Embraer,
Image

11. ..and the last one we got before we had to leave, the Sun Express, one of three this afternoon.
Image

As I said, just a few hours, but still worth the trip I think.
I have never drunk milk, and I never will . . . .

This impression shows me that you had a great Saturday afternoon. Quite some nice airframes but the Brazilian Challenger is my highlight for sure :)
