Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Düsseldorf EDDL tuesday 15th November 2011

Post by Polecat »

Easterly winds, blue skies, days like these just beg to be spent at an airport...
Though no real special visitors were announced, it's always worth travelling to DUS, as even on a "dull" day there are many new airframes to score...

1.First morning surprise was the LOT Krakow, had never been able to take a pic of this one before, so a happy start...
Image

2. Although holiday-season has come to an end, there were still quite a few Turkish holiday-airlines to be seen, including one of my last missing Sky aircraft..

Image

3. One of three Turkish Star Alliance A-321, TC-JRB was a 'first' for me as well.
Image

4. Famous Romanian billionaire Ion Tiriac has his own bizjet company, this nice G200 being part of Tiriac Air's fleet.
Image

5. This Airbus was detsined to become D-ABFR with Air Berlin, but was transferred to its Swiss subsidiary BelAir as HB-JOZ.
Image

6.F-HBPE, an Emb-145 of Pan Europeenne Air Service made a short stop.
Image

7. About the only really big aircraft at DUS, the T7's of Emirates. This time it was A6-EMO.
Image

8.This pic is a tight fit, no crop!!
Image

9.TUIfly has a new soccer-jet, hannover 96 stickers grace the rear fuselage of D-AHFK.
Image

10. For me one of the best combinations, the sleek Erj-190 in NIKI colors... Truly beautiful imho..
Image

11. Love that noise, over the whole day four SAS "Mad Dogs" visited DUS
Image

12. Just before the sun set, the Turkish 330 came in..
Image

13. as well as one of the last special I still hadn't been able to nail, the "Schauinsland" D-AXLF
Image

14. Seems these stickers have been around a few years...
Image

15. CSA had to wait for the gate, OK-GEA did the evening flight.

Thanks guys. Just a few quick add-ons..

British Legacy G-RHMS
Image

LH has started scrapping the older 737 series, now still just a "boring" LH735, maybe in a few years time we'll have nostalgic feelings...
Image

one of two Aeroflot 321s on that day.. Maybe it's because I usually go in the weekends, but I typically get 320s.
Image

Again, nothing special, just showing what a great airport DUS is as far as taking pics is concerned...
