My additions for today....

1- starting of with an incident involving PH-MCP, check the left main gear!

2- even better to see in this picture.......saw it for as far as my eyes could see. I saw it crossing the Kaagbaan to the cargo platform after about an hour, so i guess it returned to EHAM? maybe some one has some additional info?

I am missing one element, that's the rare plane  Again kLM... Time for the next step people. Try to make this kind of pictures of the special planes at SPL, there are so many other planes as well at SPL. It seems to me that the photo spotters are stuck in the sunrise, beautifull light, noise etc discussion, but I think it is about planes :? I see so many companies on SPL, but hardly any foto on this forum. What about the Air Europa for example, new company for SPL but as far as I am right only a picture of Nusty so far that was really brilliant. What about Air one Express etc. Same compliment for Nusty.

I don't want to start a discussion, but to challange the photo spotters!

Than that rare plane has to be exactly at that spot, at that time, where right at that moment this KLM 747 was taxying and the sun was peaking through the clouds, right at that moment, so i get what you´re saying, but it makes no sense. cause if that rare plane just isn´t there, right at that time, what can you do.....

By the way, in this case i´m not doing this for the plane, but purely for the light, making it a great oppurtunity for getting a picture like this. As a matter a fact i really don´t care what plane is in this picture here......

That's the challenge I want to raise. You can just wait for KLM again but you can also check what time a plane is leaving. Try to find the best spot and to make the best out of it.

Maybe you don't care what plane it is, but you post for other people, not for yourself, otherwise there is no reason to post. Maybe other people should like to see something different then the same KLM again. Only because photo spotters would like to show each other how nice light there was, and you can make out a specific situation.

No offence, keep on posting. But as said, try to make more out of a visit to SPL and pictures made.

Please let people do that they like to do!

Amazing work Menno!

Although it looks like you are a bit heavy handed on the noise reduction :(

Sorry, but i really do disagree on this one, this light situation was within a very short window (not more then 5 minutes) of opportunity. First of all, i was not waiting for this KLM 747, it just happened to be there, as was this beautifull light. The spot i had was the best to get the image like it is, i even had to run for it.
I am aware of the arrivals and departures, since i check my i-phone on a regular basis. And indeed, in this case i really don´t care what kind of plane is in here, for me it was to do about the light, which is just beautifull. if i would post only for other people, i would have to know what each and one of you prefer, which is mission impossible, due to all different kind of characters, likes and dislikes. you made your point, so it´s noted. you have given your opinion, which is clear.........for those who do not want to see these pics, is free to look somewhere else....

your quote: Maybe other people should like to see something different then the same KLM again............this is an assumption, which in your case might be true, but how can i know what all the other scramble members prefer, like or dislike. it did not came in to me like this........geeeee, this is a KLM 747, i´d better not post this one, cause it´s way to regular. instead of that, it was like, woooooww, this light is beautifull, something you don´t get to see that often. very much worth posting here at scramble.....but appearantly you have a totally different opinion, which you have all right to have of course...

From here i will rest my case, cause i think this discussion is pretty useless.

Cheers!

@ Skyhawk: thanks mate, good to see there are others who can appreciate this :toppie: :scramble:
