Kefalonia (LGKF) MIL

Hi all,

Seen here arriving around 19:30 from the north-west was a 7sqn Chinook HC6. My cameradisplay is showing ZK553 but this requires confirmation. It departed the next morning around 10:00u to the south-west.

Also active were resident PLZ M18s 030 and 101.

Can anyone confirm the Chinook?

Great. Another spotter on Kefalonia

The Chinook was ZK559 and arrived as RFR7171.

It was the second RAF Chinook in two weeks. I hope, it will continue so

Today there was a fire between Lassi and Svoronata. Beside the two Dromaders also a CL215 showed up.

Hopefully more visitors the upcoming two weeks!

The Canadair was Hephaistos Black 1, serial 1073 coming from Andravida.

There were 5 RAF Chinook present at Souda (LGSA) on 10th August at 1pm local time. Looked like a detachment. Any confirmation of serials is appreciated.

Hi Andrew,

the two Chinooks passing through Kefalonia were ZK559 and ZK563.

Maybe the other three went through Corfu or Zakynthos ...

Visiting around 19:00 in the evening was C-27J 4121 from 354MTM which was on the ground for about 20 minutes.

Visiting between roughly 22:30 and 23:00 this evening was a HAF C-27J. FR24 was showing 4121 as Pegasus 71.
