I visited Ibiza from 16 till 27 september 2009. The photo opportunities are very good.
I stayed in the Palladium Palace Hotel in Playa d'en Bossa (the hotel is near the airport) and was able to make photos of the aircraft from the swimming pool area (especially when they took off from runway 06). When aircraft were landing on runway 24 I made the photos from the beach or walked outside the hotel to the road. I used a 100-400mm lens.
In the terminal of the airport the photo opportunities are also very good. Aircraft taking off and landing as well as parked aircraft on the platform can be photographed from inside the (departure) hall as there are a lot of big windows overlooking the platform.
