I believe their African operations gain priority over training exercises like FF14.

Let us try to stay a bit more on topic.

A list has been published, information from Crizz usually is very reliable.
So if something else turns up, it's a nice bonus. Certainly in these times ...

KLu F-16AM/BM
BLu F-16AM/BM
KDF F-16AM/BM
FAP F-16AM/BM
SP F-16C/D (?)
KNL F-16AM/BM
Lw EF2000
EdA EF2000

You can cross the SP F16's and Polish F16's from the list and ad Finland with F18's and a Norwegian and British DA20 to the list (probably each one week)
Other participants have been confirmed by a press release

In the SIS summary both Spang and Polish F16's were mentioned, but both are not on the final list

Hi,

Can anyone confirm the actual participating units (squadrons) in this years FF?

I understand that the Finnish F-18s are from Kuopio (HavLLv31) and the Norwegians from Orland (338skv). I assume that the Spanish Typhoons are from Esc111?

Squadrons for the Belgians (1smd or 350smd?), Danish (Esk727 or 730) and the Portuguese (Esq201 or 301)

MTIA!

Greetings, Paul

Same for the tiffies from Deutschland: I saw aircraft from JBG31 with JG71 markings but also one example with an batch I could place? Anyone?

For the RNAF: don't they all belong to FLO with sometimes an older marking at the tail? One of the tigers was not really fresh as it has ben around for some years now :-)

Henk

Hi Henk,

The other unit is TLG74. Note that JBG31 is now designated TLG31. The former JG71 is now TGr Richthofen and subordinate to TLG31 at Norvenich.

The FLO is a logistical unit owning all the aircraft, the pilots and technicians are from one of the three squadrons in this case 338skv from Orland (the Tiger unit).

Regards, Paul
