Because my spotting career started at RAF Bruggen, 22 years ago, I have collected some pics and slidescans to remember this nice RAF air base as a spottingplace in Germany. The quality of the pics is not always good but starting photography with a very old camera with a 45mm lens....
Starting with the main gate. The big blue shield was later replaced at the new grey small wall.
Jaguar GR1 ''XX822/AA'' with 14sq markings was preserved in the centre of the air station, serving as a gateguard.

In 1999 the most Bruggen GR1s were upgraded to GR4s and also turned into a grey colorscheme, here
