This event took place to commemorate the liberation of Antwerp in 1944. In 2019 it has been 75 years since Antwerp was liberated from its wartime occupation. The city of Antwerp wanted to bring this to the attention with the “Bevrijdingsdagen” (‘Liberation Days’).
