The pre-fase is not over, as long as aircraft move south to be based in the Mediterranean passing through western Europe or leaving bases in western Europe, and other countries are still considering their participation, this forum is very suitable in my humble opinion. For the actual mission reports over Libya this topic

Yahoo:

Meanwhile aircraft from the United Arab Emirates were due to arrive on Sunday (today) at the Decimomannu air force base on the Italian island of Sardinia, which is already hosting four Spanish F-18 fighter jets that arrived on Saturday.

Italian Defence Minister Ignazio La Russa said Rome also assigned eight combat aircraft, including four Tornado jets, for the operation and they can be used "at any time".

And British Defence Secretary Liam Fox said Typhoon and Tornado jets would fly this weekend to the Gioia del Colle air base in southern Italy, where they will be ready to deploy as part of the mission dubbed "Operation Ellamy".

Isn't this a regular AMI Typhoon (4 Stormo badge)? Possibly an archive picture, although it does look more like Birgi than Grosseto + plane carries 3 tanks and missiles...

There should be an announcement being made in the minutes to come: Dutch participation by a minehunter, a KDC-10 and F-16s. Made public by dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door. Quote from the show´s anchorman Are the F-16s including pilots :blpc:

The Dutch Government has decided to offer the NATO the use of 6 F-16's of which 2 will be spares and the use of a KDC-10. In total a number of 200 military will be involved. Next to the people involved in the operations of the aircraft, those 200 also include staff members at HQ's and the crew of a minesweeper.
These will operate under NATO command to help enforce the weapons embargo on Libya. If NATO agrees on action in the no fly zone, these aircraft may eventually also operate in that role but no sooner.
The F-16's will be committed for 3 months, the KDC-10 up until the 4th of april.

You forgot to mention that it will cost about 20 million euro (read: tax money!)

According to Reuters Germany will pull back all its aircrew onboard Nato AWACS aircraft. It doesn't want any connection with the ongoing military action against Libya.

They have balls... So they also close Geilenlirchen (with the economic impact) or simply state that the E-3's fly from other airfields... Hypocracy?
