Breaking: mid-air collision of two Patrouille Suisse Tigers

According to MSN two Northrop F-5F Tigers of the aerobatic team Patrouille Suisse collided today, 15 June 2023. Despite the fact that the nosecone of one of the jets broke off, the pilots of both aircraft were able to land safely.

The nosecone was found in the staircase of a nearby building. Only one person on the ground was slightly wounded by glass spreading from breaking windows.

The collision happened while four aircraft of the aerobatic team were training in the Baar/Zug area. The team was supposed to perform at the Federal Yodelling Festival in Zug next weekend. It is currently not known which Tigers were involved in the accident.
