El Salvador Beech Baron crash 640Crash Salvadoran Navy Beech Baron

During a mission off the Salvadoran coast, a Salvadoran military Beech G58 with serial 010 was lost over de Pacific on 1 December 2021.

The Beech Baron has been donated by the US Government for counter narcotics duties in 2017 and although said to belong to the navy, it was flown by the Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña (FAS, Salvadoran Air Force).

The air force pilot and two lieutenants of the Salvadoran Navy lost their lives in the crash, that occurred five miles south of La Puntilla beach, La Paz department. The aircraft involved was built in 2013, for which construction number TH-2383 (ex N581SR) seems to be good candidate, although we like to see this confirmed.
