First Chilean Navy H125 delivered

On 12 December 2020, the first of two H125s ordered in November 2019 by the Chilean Aviacion Naval (Chilean Naval Aviation) was noted on its delivery flight to Viña del Mar.

Assembled in Brazil by Helibras at Itajubá, the helicopter with construction number 8888 will join HU-1. This acquisition is called the 'Gaviota' (seagull) program, in search of a successor to the venerable HU-57B (Bell 206) in Naval service.

An option for three more H125s to get a fleet of five may also be executed. No serial was visible on the airframe while the Argentinian spotters at Cordoba were able to take photographs when it stopped over on 11 December 2020.
