Gunfighter Flag exercise
An F-15SG of the Republic of Singapore Air Force breaks over Mountain Home AFB (ID) after returning from a Gunfighter Flag 21-1 sortie.
On 8 June 2021, Scramble Magazine spent the day at Mountain Home AFB (ID) observing all the Gunfighter Flag 21-1 action. The exercise is held twice a year over the Mountain Home Range Complex in Idaho.
This edition featured several different aircraft flying from Mountain Home AFB including the F-15E, F-35A and F-16C/D. Several off base assets also joined the fight including EA-18Gs, F-15Cs and B-52H bombers from Minot AFB (ND).
