Malaysian Navy Fennec crash

On 28 June 2021, a Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM, Royal Malaysian Navy) 502Skn Fennec helicopter crash-landed.

The TLDM AS555SN Fennec with serial number M502-3 (construction number 5714) made a rough landing within its home base Lumut causing the skids to break off and bending the rear fuselage.

Six AS555SN Fennec helicopters (M502-1 to M502-6) were inducted by 502Skn during the mid-2000s. It is expected that the damaged Fennec will be shipped to Airbus Helicopters, Subang (Malaysia) for further investigation.
