Most aircraft are based at Pondok Cabe, but some at Halim and Suryadarma. Only a few aircraft, mostly PZL-104s, are operational while the rest are stored all over Indonesia.

The PZL-104 Wilga, or locally known as Gelatic (Rice Bird), was introduced in December 1964. Some 22 were assembled from Polish kits in Bandung, a further seventeen were manufactured locally. Final delivery was in October 1979. Today, a few remain operational as glider tugs with the FASI.

Wim Das

Many gliders are used throughout the country. This G-2602 is a SGU-2-22C.
