The upgrade of the Kazakh Su-27 Fleet was conducted by LSARP Lviv where the single seaters were upgraded to Su-27P standard and the dual seaters were upgraded to Su-27UB-M2. These are currently based at Aktau.

Taldykorgan houses the pride of the air force fleet, the Su-30SM. Twenty have been delivered between 2015 and 2020.

The Kazakhstan Air Force has already received twelve Mi-35M1s. These are based at Aktau, Pervomaisky and Shymkent.
