Since December 2022, four UH-60M Blackhawk helicopters have been delivered at Lielvarde Airbase.

In december 2022 the Latvian Air Force took the delivery of two indigenous produced Pelegrin Tarragon trainers. These aircraft will be operated by Macibu Centrs (Training Center) based at Lielvarde.

Four Mi-17-1V were acquired for SAR duties from Riga and Lielvarde. In 2023 they are withdrawn from service.
